Early head start serves families with children under the age of three whose income is below 100 percent of the poverty level and pregnant mothers.
Our Parent educators all have a background in Early Childhood Education and have been trained in parenting skills. They make weekly visits to each of their families, following an educational curriculum, Partners for a Healthy Baby. Their goal is to make sure the children they serve are developmentally on target and the parents have the support and skills they need.
