Nurse Practitioner - Job Opening

Position: Nurse Practitioner, provider for Reproductive Health and Wellness Program (4-hours per Week)

Pay Grade: Employee contract

Salary: Commensurate with education/experience – $125 / hour

Work Times: Flexible scheduling options (4-hours / week) Will require 1 day a month of evening hours (4:00PM – 6:00PM)

 

The Nurse Practitioner will deliver high‑quality clinical services focused on reproductive health, preventive care, and patient education. The role involves providing direct patient care, collaborating with public health staff, and supporting program goals that promote health, wellness, and equitable access to services.

 

Key Responsibilities

  1. Provide comprehensive reproductive health services, including exams, screenings, and contraceptive counseling.
  2. Conduct health assessments, develop care plans, and manage follow-up care.
  3. Offer patient education on reproductive health, STI prevention, and wellness.
  4. Collaborate with nursing and public health staff to support program operations.
  5. Maintain accurate and confidential patient documentation in compliance with state and federal guidelines.
  6. Participate in quality improvement activities as needed.

Qualifications

  1. Licensed Nurse Practitioner in the State of Ohio.
  2. Certification in Family, Women’s Health, or Adult NP practice preferred.
  3. Experience in reproductive or women’s health strongly preferred.
  4. Strong communication, clinical judgment, and patient-centered care skills.
  5. Ability to work independently in a public health clinic setting.
