Narcan Distribution

Naloxone, also known as Narcan, is a medication that is administered nasally to quickly reverse an overdose caused by an opioid drug. It has been used safely for over 40 years and has no potential for abuse.

First Responders:

The Noble County Health Department is a Naloxone Distribution site. This allows NCHD to supply first responders with this life saving medication. This program is made possible through the Ohio Department of Health.

all residents:

The Ohio Department of Health's Project DAWN (Deaths Avoided With Naloxone) is a network of opioid overdose education and naloxone distribution programs (OENDP) coordinated by the Ohio Department of Health. Champaign Health District in Urbana invites the NCHD to share their Narcan (naloxone) Nasal Spray mail order link with residents in our community so everyone can have access to naloxone.
