Breastfeeding Support

The Noble County Health Department (NCHD) clinic and WIC departments work together to promote breastfeeding and help mothers who choose to breastfeed by providing education, classes, and peer support.

While breastfeeding is the natural way to feed your baby, it doesn’t mean it’s easy. Breastfeeding can take a lot of work and patience and we want it to be a special bonding experience for you and your baby. Our team is here to give you support while also giving you practical tips and facts about breastfeeding to help make it work for you and your baby.

Breastfeeding support is available through the NCHD WIC programs Breastfeeding Peer. Call to schedule your class with our Breastfeeding Peer today.

Breastfeeding Friendly Businesses in

Caldwell, Ohio

Although we encourage all businesses to support breastfeeding, we do have a few that have specific rooms for mothers to feel comfortable while nursing or pumping. These businesses have a “Breastfeeding Welcome Here” decal displayed outside their door.

Breastfeeding is a personal choice, but communities play a vital role in informing and supporting a mother’s decision to breastfeed her baby.
