The Noble County Health Department provides car seats each year for income eligible families. Parents and caregivers are trained on Ohio child passenger laws, proper installation and use of the seats. Noble County has four certified technicians on staff Monday-Friday, 8:00 am-4:00 pm to assist families.

Referrals for this program usually come through the department’s W.I.C. program and other agencies.

Funding and seats are provided for this service through the Ohio Department of Health, Ohio Buckles Buckeyes Program.

The health department also provides free car seat inspections for families who already have cars seats but would like a certified child passenger safety technician to assist with the installation. The health department provides car seat inspections by appointment only.
